Independence Day Fireworks by the Sea & Boardwalk Blast

A classic Carolina Beach tradition, our fireworks put all others to shame. Grab the kids and head down to the Carolina Beach Boardwalk to enjoy live music by the Johhny Folsom 4 starting at 6:30 pm. Stick around to watch our spectacular, seaside fireworks display starting at 9 pm. The event is free and family-friendly. Just remember to check the forecast beforehand, as the schedule is subject to change in the case of inclement weather.

4th of July Concert: Independence Day at Fort Fisher

If fireworks aren’t your style, you can visit historic Fort Fisher for a live concert by Sayer McShane. The event is open to the public and completely free. All you have to do is bring a blanket or some chairs and relax on the lawn. Food and beverage vendors will also be available on-site throughout the evening. The concert runs from 7:30 pm - 10:30 pm and is hosted on the stage at the Fort Fisher Recreation Area.
